Dictionary

There may be some words or ideas on this blog that you don’t understand! This page is here to explain them:

MusaweNkosi – The charity we’re working for out in South Africa (check out their website here).

Gavin and Elaine – Lydia’s aunt and uncle who started and run the charity, and who we’ll be staying with while we’re out there.

God – We’re all Christians, and not just in name. If you want to find out a little more about what we believe, and what inspires us to do what we’re doing, check this out.

Ben, Rebekah, Naomi – Gavin and Elaine’s kids, and Lydia’s cousins, all 19+.

The Coopers: Colin, Glen and Parents – Family friends of Gavin and Elaine.

(Congo) Steve – Steve is a friend of Gavin and Elaine’s who helps to run the ‘Sunday School’ on Tuesdays by translating. He has also planted a church out in kwaBiyela. He’s a Congolese refugee fluent in several languages, and is apparently about 40, though he doesn’t look it! You can see him in the Getting Stuck In video.
